Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Falls Are the Leading Cause of Injury Among Older Adults — and Texas Has a Big Hill to Climb
Falls are the leading cause of fatal and nonfatal injury among adults 65 and older in the United States. In Texas, the challenge is especially acute:
Falls are a leading cause of injury-related hospitalizations and ER visits among older Texans
Texas’s older adult population is growing faster than the national average — meaning the burden is accelerating
Evidence-based falls prevention programs reduce fall rates by 30–55% among participants, but remain out of reach for many Texans
The coalition exists to close that gap.
A Coalition Built on 19 Years of Partnership
Texas Takes on Falls is a statewide falls prevention coalition whose roots extend back to 2007. What started as a small network of Area Agencies on Aging has grown into a coordinated, statewide effort to expand access to evidence-based programs, strengthen provider capacity, and connect communities to resources that help older adults remain safe and independent.
